Elevator Testing
In the State of Michigan, all elevator testing must be preformed by licensed elevator Journeyperson, working under the direction of a licensed elevator contractor.
Types of elevator tests:
Full Load Hydraulic test: Test hydraulic system with weights and two hour standing test.
No Load Safety Test: Traction/cable elevator. Test safeties and governor with no test weights.
Full Load Safety Test: Traction/cable elevator. Test safeties and governor with test weights.
